About
Little Viet is a to-go kitchen opened in Nanaimo, BC. With a great passion for cooking and enjoying delicious food and over 15 years of experience serving Vietnamese cuisine, we opened our to-go kitchen to serve quality and tasty Southern Vietnamese dishes: Banh mi, Fried Rice, and unique special beverages: the best milk tea on the island, fresh house-made ginger tea, authentic Vietnamese coffee.
Challenge
Located in Nanaimo, a small city on Vancouver Island but already has 6 different Vietnamese restaurants, Little Viet has to make itself stand out from its competitor. Therefore, the brand image had to appeal to various audiences, from teenagers to elders and corporate clients to special occasion diners and prospective staff.
The New Visual Identity
There's something magical about great cooking, that moment when you bite into a succulent meal and the flavors come alive in your mouth. Little Viet's branding focuses on the sophistication and elegance of Vietnamese women, in keeping with the traditional Vietnamese handicraft hat known as "Non La," which is typically made from palm leaves, straw, and bamboo and has a distinctive green colour that is well-known to many Vietnamese families. This uniqueness helps Little Viet stand out among the other Vietnamese restaurants in the area as well as worldwide.
